SHAPE is a grant-funded program designed to promote and foster health and wellness among Bethel School District employees. SHAPE seeks to address the primary health needs of physical activity, nutrition education and stress management through fun, rewarding and free activities open to all district staff.

Healthy Cooking Class Returns

Add The Miles And Cash-In

There are still close to 50 gift cards to give away to Bethel staff taking part in the 100 Mile (100 points) Club. Remember, it includes exercise, yard work, and other activities that increase the heart rate. Every 15 minutes of a heart rate-increasing activity = 1 mile. Download a 100 Mile Club form to keep track of your “miles” then receive your gift card.


Tastes Like Chicken

Back by popular demand is another SHAPE Healthy Cooking class. This coming Tuesday it’s Chicken 101 – Whole Chicken Breakdown.

Pedometer Challenges

Talk to your building’s SHAPE Champion about getting your staff involved in the Pedometer Challenge. Prairie Mountain recently finished their challenge and Fairfield’s is underway.
