SHAPE is a grant-funded program designed to promote and foster health and wellness among Bethel School District employees.
SHAPE seeks to address the primary health needs of physical activity, nutrition education and stress management through fun, rewarding and free activities open to all district staff.
SHAPE, Bethel’s staff health and wellness program, is offering the FREE use of exercise DVDs, cookbooks and self-help publications to all Bethel employees.
The SHAPE Lending Library includes a wide variety of DVDs, from beginners’ exercises to challenging workouts.
The cookbooks feature hundreds of easy-to-make recipes for healthy meals, along with tips on preparing foods that are flavorful and affordable.
The Self-Help section includes selections such as Mindfulness for Teachers: Simple Skills for Peace and Productivity in the Classroom.
Browse the Lending Library then make your request by emailing Nicole Zwink. Your DVD, book or CD will arrive through the district’s inter-office mail.
Loans are for two weeks, but can be extended if there is no waiting list for that selection.
