Everyone who lives in our watershed should understand how it operates and is managed. All should also know how daily activities and decisions impact the health of our watershed. These are the basis for the goals of this project, which involves all of Bethel’s 6th grade classes, the high school General Biology and Natural Resources CAM students. Bethel’s EWEB grant helps achieve these goals in many ways. This year it will help to collect and analyze better quality data, conduct riparian habitat restorations, use GPS units and GIS data plots, and practice the decision making of project managers.
