NASA Launches Spacecraft Dragon May 30

Mystery Doug had lots of interesting questions about space travel answered on his last live program, and it was just in time for the SpaceX launch scheduled for May 27 (which ultimately had to be rescheduled to May 30, 2020 due to weather conditions). Keep your eye on our homepage, though, because you can watch this historical event unfold right here via NASA’s Live Stream! NASA and SpaceX launch astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley on spacecraft Dragon to the International Space Station–the same place the astronaut in Mystery Doug’s event was answering questions from! What makes this trip so special, you ask? This mission marks the first time since the retirement of the space shuttle in 2011 that humans will fly to the space station from U.S. soil. The launch will happen from historic Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
