We were inspired by Henri Matisse’s many pictures of open windows. We created our own window paintings and wrote about what we see, what we feel, and what we wish when we look out our windows. Some of the windows are real and some are completly fictitious. All are lovely!
Spelling City
For fun spelling practice, have your child click on the Spelling City link (to the left). Once you are on the Spelling City site, scroll down and click on “Spelling Words” link. The choices available are “Spelling Test” or “Play Games”. I am using the free version right now and these are the only two choices at this time. But, there are many choices of games to practice our spelling words. Each week, I will enter our spelling words and your child can practice them while having fun!
