Now That School’s Started…
The school year has gotten off to a busy start. We have begun the year with the Dramatically Speaking unit which includes poetry, plays and speeches. Students presented their first poem and will write sonnets in the next week.
2012-2013 School Year
Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year! We will be introducing the Common Core Curriculum in 8th grade Language Arts this year. Our opening unit is called “Dramatically Speaking”. In this unit students will be looking at poetry, plays and speeches. The unit will have several writing opportunities and will end in a presentation.
