Miracle Children’s Network is a Kids Helping Kids Program!

Mr. Wolverine contestants came to our school. One of them is Tyler Johnson, son of Mrs. Johnson (an Irving aide) & a former student of mine. I have always encouraged my students to support this worthwhile program. It is a Kids Helping Kids Outreach that directly helps babies & saves lives!
Many Irving students, both boys and girls, end up helping in this fabulous fundraiser. Schools all through Lane County and beyond are involved!
Having a nephew who was born 3 months early and stayed in NICU for several weeks, our family knows the value of the life saving work done through Miracle Children’s Network. I encourage your support in this worthy cause.
Firefighters Teach us How to Be Fire Safe Kids!
1. Tuesday is Test your smoke alarm day.
2. Always have a family meeting place outside your home.
3. Practice exiting your home once a month for safety. (This is called, E.D.I.T.H. or exit drills in the home.)
If you need a smoke alarm, and can’t afford one, you can go to your local fire station and pick up one for free.
