The recent events of hurricanes and shootings take their toll on all of us. We support students here at school by maintaining school routine and offering a kind and safe space to talk about the feelings that they may be having. As a parent I also understand the importance of creating that space in my own home for my children to be able to process these events and to feel safe and secure. This week I am sharing some ideas that may be helpful to initiate those conversations. Please feel free to connect with me at any time you may have questions or need additional resources.
Kalapuya will be hosting a Family night for college information and filling out FAFSA forms keep watching for date and time
Do you or does someone in your family need insurance coverage? Open enrollment for insurance begins on November 1st and ends December 15th. It is a very short window to obtain coverage this year. If you need coverage call and make an appointment with Lezlee to explore options. If you qualify for OHP, (Oregon Health Plan) you may apply at any time not just during open enrollment.
