November

Happy November!

This month we will have our first field trip. We are going to the Hult Center to see the Eugene Symphony on the morning of November 12, and will return to school for lunch that day. The very next week, we have our music concert on Wednesday November 20th. It is a busy month for us as we gear up for learning about technology safety, multi-digit multiplication, decimals, decoding and comprehension strategies. As always, Please contact me with any questions. I try to make myself available via Class Dojo 24/7.

Thank you!

Welcome Back to School!

Welcome back from summer break. I am very excited to start our adventure in fifth grade! This year we will be exploring nature, nutrition, and biology through an analytical lens. We will engineer and create through mathematics, music, and art. We will find our power and voice in the world through history, reading, and writing. Our class will be focused on kindness, acceptance, empathy, and understanding that we are all learners on our own journey, and as people we can help each other grow.

Please fill out the Getting To Know Your Student form, a paper copy will be sent home as well.
