From a record high number of quads to a record low.  It was not unexpected.  After the state OSCF meet in Seaside, many scholastic chess clubs shut down for the year.  We’ll keep on going into June.  Last month’s winners were: Hung Le (Q1), Kevin McCoy (Q2) and Aidan Cagle (Q3).

Complete results from the April’s Quads can be found at:    NWSRS results     USCF results

All quads are OSCF qualifiers and NWSRS rated. Quads are also USCF rated when all members of a quad are USCF members.

The next quads are on May 19th from 1:30 to 4:30. Just $10 to enter with the winner of each quad getting $10 and free admission to the next Bethel Quad. Remember if a quad chooses a longer time control, it will likely run later than 4:30.

Send an email to mike.myers@bethel.k12.or.us to reserve a spot. Onsite registration between 12:30 – 1:15. Mark your calendars for the last quad of the school year: June 9.  Don’t forget, there’s also a tournament at the University of Oregon coming up on May 11th.
