For Monday, September 21st…

Hello 6th Grade Families!

We sincerely hope this message finds you safe and well. We are excited to be starting school on Monday, September 21st. Below, you will find information to ensure a smooth start to the school year.

The first thing to be done is to make certain your student can log into their Google Account. They will use their Bethel email address to do this: and

password is student ID+First initial Last initial.

Once students have verified access to their Google Account, they will need to make sure they can access Google Classroom. Click on the ‘waffle’ or 9 dot icon next to their initials in the upper right hand corner. This will give a drop down menu. Click on Classroom.

Next, students need to verify that they have classes: Advisory, Math, LA/SS, Science, and either Music or PE. Students will be on a 6-week rotation between PE and Music Alive. They should have a class set up in Google Classroom by Monday.

If there are any problems, let me know so we can tackle some of the issues before the first day of school.

We will open our Advisory Zoom sessions this Friday (9/18) from 8:30-9:00 (just like normal school days) to give students a chance to log in and feel comfortable with the process, say a quick Hello, and ask any questions. We hope this eases any anxiety and boosts confidence for your student heading into the school year.

For Monday., 9/21, please ask students to power on computer by 8 and click Zoom link by 8:30 for their Advisory class having pencil and paper ready.

Thank you in advance for your patience, kindness, perseverance and resilience!
