Learning about grains.

Learning about types of grain.

Learning about the history of the schoolhouse.

Filling bags with flour.

Pounding grain into flour.

Dear Families,

Note from Coach Zwink– Please have students avoid wearing flip-flops on P.E. days (Tues. and Thurs.).

Is spring finally here? We are studying “soils” in science class. In social studies/writing we are finishing up oral reports on Native American regions.

We have a field trip coming up on Wednesday, the 31st of May to the local dump and landfill from 8:30-11:15. If you would like to chaperone and you have a background check on file, look out for a sign-up sheet in next week’s Tuesday folder.

We also have a field trip planned to Nearby Nature (near Autzen stadium) on Friday, June 9 from 9-12:45.

The last day of library for the year will be sometime during the week of May 30th. The last day of the school year is on June 20th (full day).

Sincerely,

Rachel Gillis

Queridas Familias,

Sinceramente,

Rachel Gillis
