Congratulations Wrestlers
Freestyle/Greco 2013 State Tournament Results
It was an exciting weekend for us (coaches and wrestlers). Willamette High School was represented by 2 wrestlers (Cordell Clark and Austin Reed) at the 2013 Freestyle/Greco State tournaments.
Cordell competed in the Greco tournament (Junior Division) and finished 4th at his respective weight class. Cordell continues to improve his skills, and the Willamette coaching staff looks forward to seeing how he will do in his senior year (2014).
Austin competed in both the Freestyle/Greco tournaments (Cadet Division) and finished 2nd in Freestyle and 3rd in Greco in his respective weight class. Austin’s placing in each tournament qualify him for both of the annual Cadet National Tournaments (Freestyle and Greco) in Fargo North Dakota. Austin is excited to make the national teams, and he is planning to attend the tournaments this summer.
Thank you wrestlers and parents,
