Week of November 1, 2010

I can’t believe this is the last week of the quarter. Students:make sure you have all of your work in for grading! We will be having our Salmon Watch Field Trip on the 2nd of November. Please make sure you are dressed in layers, wear appropriate foot gear for hiking by creeks and have extra pairs of socks. This is an all day field trip.

The School Social on Friday was so much fun! I am terribly grieved, however, because I accidently deleted all of the photos before copying them to my desktop folder. So frustrating…

Our Meadow View 6 News blog is up and running! Check out the link on Meadow View’s homepage.

Please form your OBOB groups by the end of this week. I would like to have a list of group members and a team name submitted to me by Thursday, November 4.

There is No School this Friday!

Week of October 25, 2010

The final countdown to Halloween will be celebrated by several fun events. We will be having our first Social on Friday along with our first Buddy Day. We are also lucky enough to have the Native American Story teller coming to perform for us before our Salmon Watch experience next week.

Please send in those permission slips for the field trip to Whiteaker Creek. This will be a field trip you won’t want to miss. (The bus ride, maybe not so much.)

Week of October 18th

Our visit to AmazonCreek was a great success. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered their time. Our photographers took amazing shots of the creek. You can see these images in the Photos section of this blog.

We are starting our Meadow View 6 News blog this week. We will be learning the blogging process using a WordPress blogsite that we will be publishing in the near future.

Fundraiser envelopes are due this Wednesday.

No school on Friday.
