4 pm WHS Frosh Football at Tualatin (Depart 12:15 pm)
5 pm WHS JV Football vs Tualatin at WHS, 5 pm
Friday, September 4
8:30 am WHS Cross Country at Richardson Park – The Invitational Meet
7 pm WHS Varsity Football at Tualatin HS (Portland) (depart 1:30 pm)

The Willamette Fall Sports season begins this week with the following scheduled events:
8/27 Varsity Volleyball at Thurston HS Jamboree, 9 am
8/28 V/JV Boys Soccer at West Salem, 3 pm
8/28 V/JV Girls Soccer vs West Salem at WHS, 3 pm (due scheduled parking lot striping, spectators are asked to park at parking strip along WILLHI Street behind Cascade MS or they may park behind WHS Stadium by going down DOVE LANE and following road behind the stadium.
8/28 Varsity Football at Lebanon Jamboree, 6 pm (bus departs 3:15 pm from Echo Hollow Pool due to parking lot striping).
8/28-30 Varsity Water Polo at Redmond HS Jamboree (Cascade Swim Center). Both Boys and Girls teams will participate in this Jamboree

The WHS Fall Sports Parent Night will be held on Wednesday, August 28 – 6 pm in the Main Gym. Fall season passes will also be on sale for parents wanting to purchase a pass or by Stadium Reserve Seat Tickets for the upcoming season!
The Bethel Boosters will serve ice cream at 6 pm – come out and meet our Fall Coaches – all parents and student-athletes are welcome to attend!

The 2015 Fall Sports Season begins Monday, August 17 at Willamette High School (and throughout the state of Oregon).
Student-athletes must complete and turn-in an Athletic Packet in order to begin practice. (See attached for a complete list and times of Practice schedules).
Registration was Tuesday, August 11 – but make-up registration for all Fall Sports is Monday, August 17 at 7:30 am in the WHS Library.
IT IS NOT TOO LATE – COME OUT AND JOIN A TEAM!
Week 1 Practice Schedule
Willamette has make-up Athletic Registration for those athletes needing to sign up for Fall Sports. Registration will be held beginning at 7:30 am in the Willamette Library (Media Center) and continue until 10 am.
Athletic packets will be available on Monday. Remember that all athletes must have a completed packet and an updated physical examination to begin practice.
Willamette will host two workshops on Tuesday, August 11 – sponsored by the Oregon Athletic Directors Association and BI-MART in Powers Auditorium (park on Dove Lane or behind the High School due to Parking Lot Construction).
10:30 Life Lessons for Athletes (Athletes, Coaches and Parents are invited)
12:00 The Role of Parents in Athletics (Parents, Coaches and Adults – No Athletes should attend this session).
The Workshops are conducted by Maui Borden from the Proactive Coaches program, developed and promoted by Bruce Brown and his wife Dana.
Willamette will hold our Fall Sport Registration on Tuesday, August 11 in the Library. Athletic Packets are available in the main office, as well as at Registration on Tuesday. Suggested Registration Times are as follows:
8 am – Dance and Water Polo
8:30 – Cross Country
9:00 – Volleyball
9:45 – Boys Soccer
10:30 – Girls Soccer
11:15 – Cheer
(Lunch from 12 – 1 pm)
1 pm – Football
Remember that Oregon Law requires all student-athletes to have an updated Physical (every two years) in order to begin practice on Monday, August 17. The Physical Form is located inside each packet.

Congratulations to the Willamette Varsity Boys Golf Team who received OSAA Academic All State Honors with their 3.62 Team GPA (WHS finished in 5th place out of 51 Golf Teams)! Varsity Team members include: Chris Dehart,SR; John Johnson, SR; Connor DRath, JR; Chris Stowell, JR; Ben Davis, SO; and Noah Burke, SO! Way to go Guys! The Varsity Golf team is coached by Adam Walker and Barry Bokn.
Willamette has moved it’s Varsity Softball game with South Eugene to Wednesday, April 15 due to a late afternoon rain storm that soaked an already wet field.
Tennis has also been postponed until Wednesday (for Girls) and boys will make up at a later date. Girls Tennis will now host South Eugene on Wednesday, April 15 – 4 pm
Baseball (V/JV) did travel to Grants Pass on Tuesday for their 4:30 pm game.
