LaMichael James joins Wolverine Nation!

LaMichael James visited with Willamette athletes, students and community members after school on Wednesday, March 14 in the main gym.  The visit was to encourage kids to work hard, be dedicated in the classroom and on the athletic field, and to complete high school and college – as an education is essential for today’s youth!

LaMichael also had a surprise for Willamette High School – $5,000 worth of training equipment from SKLZ – a fitness and training company that has endorsed LaMichael as he pursues a career in the NFL.  The 45 minute visit included words of encouragement from LaMichael; some questions and answers from those in attendance to LaMichael (he likes the Dallas Cowboys having grown up in Texas); and some lucky students even got a chance to try out some of the donated equipment with a SKLZ CHALLENGE  which was very entertaining!  LaMichael also received a gift from us – a WOLVERINE NATION T-shirt which he said he’ll wear proudly during his next training session!

Willamette is very grateful for this donation from LaMichael James and SKLZ and are looking forward to a return visit from the former University of Oregon!  You’re always welcome at Wolverine Nation La Michael!
