Willamette Senior Alycia Wodke was named Southwest Conference Player of the Year and unanimous member of the 1st Team All Conference Team by a vote of the SWC Coaches! Also receiving 1st Team All Conference honors were Seniors Emily Eckart and Tory Bennett. Junior Alyssa Gayle received 2nd Team Honors while Sophomore Emily Henderson received Honorable Mention honors. The Wolverines will host South Eugene on Saturday, November 1 at 7 pm as they are one victory away from back-to-back trips to the OSAA State Volleyball Tournament. Willamette is currently ranked #3 in the state, but face an excellent South Eugene squad who also swept their first round match 3-0 against a higher ranked McMinnville team. Good Luck Wolverines!
Willamette Boys Soccer will advance to the OSAA Playoff game on Saturday (opponent and time tba) after their convincing 2-0 victory over the Tualatin Timberwolves on Tuesday night. The Wolverines overcame the rain, cold and a bit of a late start (due to bus issues by the Timberwolves) to secure the shut-out.
Saturday Play-off information will be determined on Wednesday morning. Congratulations to the Wolverine Boys Soccer Team!
The Lady Wolverine Volleyball Team (coached by Brian Wodke) has clinched the first league title in school history with their 3-0 victory at South Medford on Tuesday night.
Willamette is currently undefeated and has one game left in league play this Thursday at Willamette High School. The Lady Wolverines will host Grants Pass on Senior Night and will attempt to go undefeated in league play! Game time is 6:45 pm.
The State Playoffs will begin Wednesday, October 29 and Willamette will certainly host an opponent (yet to be determined). Game time will likely be 6:30 pm for this OSAA State Playoff Game.

The Boys and Girls Soccer Teams will host Thurston High School in a Southwest Conference Doubleheader on Wednesday, October 14. The Boys will play at 4 pm, following by the Girls at 6 pm (Both JV Teams will play at 4 pm as well).
Currently the Boys are in 5th place while the Girls are in 3rd place in the Southwest Conference standings.
Willamette Varsity Football will host South Eugene High School this Friday, October 3 in our HOMECOMING 2014 game. Both teams will be looking for their first victory of the season, and our students will have the traditional crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen at half-time!, along with performances by the WHS Marching Band as well as our Dance Team! Gates open at 6 pm, with kick-off at 7 pm. Come out, grab a hamburger or Big Dog from the Booster BBQ Tent and enjoy the HOMECOMING GAME 2014!
Congratulations to the Willamette Boys and Girls Soccer Teams for their Southwest Conference wins last night at Wolverine Stadium.
The girls began the doubleheader with a close 3-2 victory over the first place Sheldon Girls. This win was especially key after the girls lost to Grants Pass on Saturday by a 4-1 margin.
The nightcap saw the Wolverine Boys come out with energy and firepower, as they dominated both ends of the field with a 5-1 margin over a young but talented Sheldon Team. Willamette Freshman Colby Lincoln Bates scored two goals in the victory!
The boys next play at North Medford on Thursday, while the girls don’t play again until next Tuesday, 6 pm at South Eugene!
The JV Boys also won 1-0 while the JV Girls team lost 1-0.
