Coach Paul Brothers is hanging up his whistle as the Head Coach of the Lady Wolverine Basketball program. After 21 years at Willamette (and over 30 years in coaching Girls Basketball) - Paul Brothers is retiring to a new job – that of a full-time Grandpa! “I’m just missing too much of my grandkids activities and thought it was a good time to just be a Grandpa”, say Paul Brothers. “I’m going to miss the kids a great deal – but there never is a good time to hang it up – so I’m making the decision to do this now.”
Willamette’s Associate Head Coach Lance Haas has also resigned as the Girls Co-Head Coach having served at Willamette since 1997. “It’s time for me to pursue other educational opportunities, but there is no better place to coach than Willamette High School,”, says Coach Haas.
Willamette will begin a search for a new Head Girls Basketball Coach immediately – and for the first time in a long, long time – the off-season will be gin without two of the best of the best. Thank You to Coach Brothers and Coach Haas for their service and dedication to the Lady Wolverines.

The Lady Wolverines advanced to the FINAL FOUR for the 3rd consecutive year with their victory yesterday over the Wilson Trojans 50-18.

Willamette will play the Lebanon Warriors on Friday, 1:30 pm at Matt Knight Arena in the semi-final game. Willamette has already met the Warriors this season, beating them back in December.
